Willie Murphy,Jr.'s Obituary
Mr.Willie Murphy,Jr. age 90, of Martha Franks Baptist Retirement Center and formally of 32 Murphy Street in Clinton, South Carolina went home to be with the Lord on September 6, 2019.
Mr. Murphy was born on June 25, 1929; attended Laurens County schools; served our country in both the US Army and Disabled Veterans of America; and dedicated many years to Childs Funeral Home until his health declined.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 70 years, Mrs. Ella Watson Murphy of the home; 5 children, 16-grandchildren, 19-great grandchildren, 12-great great grandchildren, and a host of loving relatives and friends.
The service for Mr. Willie Murphy Jr. is scheduled for 2:00PM Thursday September 12, 2019 at Childs Funeral Home Chapel. He will receive full military honors at Rosemont Cemetery.
