Mrs.Peggy Jean Burnside Johnson ,age 65, of East Ferguson Street Clinton, left to be with the Lord on Sunday October 25,2020 at Self Regional Hospital in Greenwood, SC.

Mrs. Peggy Johnson was born January 28,1955 to the late Martin and Ollie Mae Burnside. She was raised and educated in Laurens County and graduated from Gray Court Owens High School in 1980. She attended Spartanburg Methodist in Spartanburg, SCand retired from Whitten Center where she made her career as a switchboard operator.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 22 years Mr. John Johnson of the home, a son Terry (Yolanda) Shands of Greenville; four grandchildren, one great grandchild, two sisters: Beverly Powell and Mary Jo Adams both of Laurens and many other loving relatives and friends.
