Mr. George Edward Dendy of Giggle Drive, Laurens SC; Earned his Heavenly Wings on Monday July 6, 2026... surrounded by his loved ones.  

Born on July 31, 1935 to the late Ellis and Cora Lee Dendy, Mr. George was raised and educated in Laurens County. He was a faithful member of the Hebron Baptist Church family and served as a Trustee until his health declined.

George was employed for many years with Contessa Mobile Manufacturing as a plant superintendent and went on later to work at Flour Daniel for over thirty years.

Mr. George E. Dendy was met in Heaven by his loving wife Roberta C. Dendy of over fifty years.

He leaves to cherish  precious and loving memories:  his son Mr. George ( Pam) Ellis Dendy; daughters: Geraldine D. Caldwell of Laurens, SC and Dianne Dendy of the home. His loving grandchildren: Justin, Karen, Hannah & Miles, Alphonso Jr., Cora Lee, Rachel and  Dr. Victoria Talley, Great Grandchildren: Carmen,Tray, Harold Jr.,Nicholas Jr., Kennedy; one brother: Earl ( Sonya) Dendy , one sister: Catherine ( David) Mahdee and many other loving relatives and friends.

The Celebration of Life for Mr. George Dendy was held on July 9, 2026 at Hebron Baptist Church in Clinton, SC. His final resting place is in the Westview Cemetery of Laurens, SC. The family is grateful for the love and support shown to us during this dark hour. May God continue to bless you all.
