Mrs. Mary Ellen DeShields - Etheredge, age 76, of Piedmont Avenue earned her wings on July 30, 2022. She was surrounded by those who loved her dearly. In addition to her husband Fred, she will be missed by her daughter Treca DeShields of Anderson, SC; sisters: Gwendolyn Babb of Columbia, SC and Rev. Queen E. Babb - Brown of Philadelphia, PA and one brother: Johnny (Angela) Babb of Laurens, SC along with many other loving relatives and friends.

The Homegoing Service for Mrs. "Peaches" DeShields was held on August 7,2022 at Hebron Baptist Church, Clinton SC. Her final resting place is in the church cemetery.
