Mrs. Margaret Anne Carter, age 67 of Hwy 72 E. Clinton, SC passed away on August 15, 2018.

She was a dedicated employee of Laurens County District 56 schools system for over forty years.

Mrs. Carter is survived by her husband, Mr. Johnnie Carter of the home; a daughter Michelle Barefield of Georgia; sons: Johnnie C. (Cynthia) Carter, Jr. and Jason Carter both of Clinton; 9 Grand children, 8 Great grand children; Sisters: Jackie Smith of Clinton, Harriette Cofield of Thomasville, NC, Joyce Miller of Washington, DC; Brothers: Amos (Ella) Smith Jr. and George (Mary Anne) Smith both of Clinton, as well as many other loving relatives and friends.

Services were held Tuesday August 21, 2018 at 1:00PM at the Hebron Baptist Church in Clinton, SC will burial in the church cemetery.
