Mrs. Katie Mae Reeder Toland, age 77; earned her wings on Sunday October 11, 2020 at Palmetto Health Baptist in Columbia, SC.

Born on March 20, 1943 to the late John Henry and Ruth Brown Reeder; Katie joined St. Vaughnville Baptist Church at an early age. She was raised and educated in Newberry County and was a 1961 graduate of Gallman High School.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of 54 years Joe L. Toland of the home; daughter Melissa A. (Tony) Bailey of Clinton SC; son Clarence Patrick (Arleatha) Toland of Columbia, SC; 5 grandchildren: Steven T. McDuffie, Kendall D. Toland, Devan T. Bailey, Claryssa D. Toland and Mekayla Baily; 5 brothers: James (Bessie Mae) Reeder, Alvin Smith, Ronald (Rosa) Langford, Otis (Linda) Langford, Gregory (Doris) Landford; 7 sisters:Carrie Long, Daisy Mae (Harold) Smoot, Lula Ree Crawford, Janice (Larry) Wilson, Bengelene Sutton, Barbara Riley and Annie Mae Brown (raised like a sister), along with many other close relatives and countless friends.

The service is scheduled for 3:00 pm on Thursday October 15, 2020 at Orchard Park Memorial Gardens.

The family is at the Butler residence on 1045 AB Jacks Road Clinton.
