Obituary

Mrs. Dollie Mae Young Anderson, age 87, was born July 23, 1937 in Laurens County South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Willie James Crisp and Dorothy Young . She and her siblings were raised and educated in Laurens County.

Mrs. Dollie Mae chose to make caring for her family her life accomplishment. The sacrifice of love became a true joy to her heart. They worshipped as a family at the St. John Baptist Church of Cross Hill South Carolina, faithfully until her health declined.

On Sunday morning May 4, 2025; Mrs. Dollie Mae Anderson, joined her Heavenly Father. She was met at the Pearly Gates by her husband J.W. ; after eight years of traveling this road of life without him.

There are countless moments that will never be forgotten. Those that will forever remember her love are her children: Tillie (James) Brown, Willie James Anderson, Bobby (Cathy B.) Anderson and Henry Anderson all of Mountville, SC; Elick (Cynthia) Anderson of Cross Hill, SC; Tony (Vanessa) Anderson of Clinton, SC; Randy (Rosalind) Anderson of Simpsonville, SC; Richard, Lisa and Cindy Anderson all of the home. Grandchildren raised in the home include: Henry D. Anderson, Kemorian and Jermear Rouse, Briona Foster, Kentavious and Zayden Anderson; Jay, Peyton and Royce'ston Dendy, Marshanna and Patricia Anderson; three sisters: Sara Lowe, Lenora (Jeff) Stephens, and Odessa (Ezell) Dickerson; one brother: Sylvester Pulley; a host of other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, close relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life for Mrs. Dollie Mae Anderson was held on May 10, 2025 at the St. John's Baptist Church in Cross Hill SC. Her final resting place is in the church cemetery.

The family is forever grateful for the love and support shown during this dark hour. We will pray for each of you that God will continue to bless you and keep you.
