Mr. Calvin McGowan, Sr, age 71, formerly of S. Bell Street Clinton went from labor to reward on Monday April 20, 2020 at NHC of Laurens.

Born on January 12, 1949 , Mr. McGowan was educated on the Laurens County Schools and raised in the Zion Hill Baptist Church of Cross Hill, SC. He worked in the Construction industry with Joe Bond Construction Company before retirement.

Mr. McGowan leaves to cherish his memories: his sons: Quincy (Catherine) Suber, Calvin (Rochelle) McGowan Jr., Terry (Kathryn) McGowan, Mark (Melesha) McGowan, Bryan (Treka) McGowan, Michael F. McGowan and Quantez McGowan; his siblings: Eugene (Zeemary) McGowan, Dorothy (Scottie) Davis, Olivia (Wister) Williams, Betty j. (Bobby) Tribble, Lessie Speaks, and Juanita (Lloyd) Johnson, 27 grandchildren, 7 great grand children and 1 great great grandchild.

A private service for Mr. Calvin McGowan is scheduled for Saturday April 25,2020 at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
